ShowBoats International global order book 2011 shows Turkey and Proteksan Turquoise on the way up in ranking
The December/January 2011 edition of ShowBoats published a detailed survey of the state of the superyacht industry in the shape of their annual 'global order book' survey.
''The quality of yacht production in this crossroads nation is improving year after year'' they report. ''...they are now able to seduce a lot of famous designers for concept drawings''.
A clear message of the way things are moving states ''Turkey currently hosts 69 builds and with 9,334 linear feet of yachts under construction, is now in third place in world ranking''.
Proteksan Turquoise now stands at no. 10 in the top 20 yards within the global order book ranking. An outstanding achievement without doubt.
